Everton in the Community (EitC) have 8 disability football teams, impairment specific and pan-disability teams. The EitC Girls team is a pan-disability team, meaning that the team is open to female participants with any disability or additional need. Participants that engage with the programme have a range of disabilities including; learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, social and emotional difficulties and mental health difficulties.
EitC’s Girls team began in October 2016 and is still thriving.
EitC’s Girls team provides the opportunity for female participants of all ages and abilities to enjoy football on a regular basis, as well as providing a safe and supportive environment where vulnerable young people can develop social skills.
